Kofi is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a Partner of Valuation & Investment Associates. He joined the firm in 1994 after a years’ national service with the Lands Commission Secretariat, Accra. He has extensive real estate consulting and functional experience acquired from the various responsibilities and assignments he has performed over the past 19 years.

Kofi holds an MBA (Finance Option) from the University of Ghana Business School and a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana with a degree in Land Economy. He is a chartered Marketer with Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM-UK and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana. He also holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance awarded by the ACCA, UK.
Mr. Cobbold leads the firm’s construction fund management on behalf of lending institutions. The firm currently manages construction lending on behalf of the CAL Bank Ghana Limited, Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited and Guarantee Trust Bank Ghana Limited. Project supervised include the Revonia Apartments, Criterion Apartments, Madina Lorry Park Development and PDC multi-storey Kwame Nkrumah Avenue Project all being funded by CAL Bank. He supervised the construction funding supervision and monitoring of the Villagio Luxury Apartments Phase I for the Barclays Bank, and the Phases II and III for Fidelity and GT Bank respectively. Monitored the progress of the construction of the 240-room TGL Hotel Project (African Sun Amber Hotel) located at the Airport City, Accra.
He is the lead Valuer on mortgage valuations and coordinates mortgage valuations for customers of Barclays Bank, Cal Bank, Ecobank, HFC Bank, uniBank, Bank of Africa, Access Bank, Fidelity Bank, GT Bank UBA Bank and other micro finance companies.
He has been involved in mass appraisal projects including the valuation of the assets of the International Central Gospel Church (nation-wide), Ghana Railway Company (around the Golden Triangle), Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Ghana Airports Company Limited, Intercity STC (Ghana, Ivory Coast and Benin) and the Takoradi Harbour and Sekondi Fishing Harbour.
Kofi has been involved in fixed assets valuation for Initial Public Offers (IPOs). These include the valuation of Novotel Hotel, Aluworks Limited, Cocoa Processing Company, Produce Buying Company and Ecobank Ghana Limited.
He is currently a Governing Council (GC) Member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, representing the Valuation and Estate Surveying (VES) Division, the chairman of the Continuing Professional Development, member of the Board of Examiners and the GC Chair of the Library Board.
